A free, private, in-browser toolkit for everyday PDF tasks.
ShalaDarpan PDF Studio is a collection of simple, free tools for working with PDF documents — editing, signing, merging, splitting and converting to and from images. We built it because most "free" PDF sites either upload your files to their servers, slap on a watermark, or push you toward a paid subscription before you can download your result. We wanted something different.
Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your web browser using modern JavaScript. When you open a PDF here, the file is read directly by your own device and processed locally. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. When you download your edited file, it was assembled on your machine. That means your private documents — contracts, tax forms, medical letters, IDs — stay private.
Under the hood we use two well-known open-source libraries: pdf.js (from Mozilla) to display PDF pages, and pdf-lib to write your changes back into the file. Both are trusted, permissively licensed projects used across the web.
The site is supported by advertising, which is why the tools stay free with no sign-up. We aim to keep ads reasonable and clearly labelled, and we never place ads inside the editing workspace where they could get in your way.
We are not a document-storage service and we don't offer legally binding e-signatures, certified conversions, or professional legal/financial advice. For those, use a qualified provider. Our tools are for everyday convenience.
